Just got back from a nice walk by the Kiessee, a beautiful little lake about 20 minutes's walk from our apartment. Munir is here visiting as are Elizabeth and Flavio, two Ithaca researchers here for about 10 days. We took many pictures which will be posted soon. The sun is mostly out today which made for a very nice stroll.
Then we discovered Aldi on the way back. For those who don't know, Aldi is the quintessence of cheap grocery stores. Bought some chips and almond cookies. They even had an iPod speaker system on sale for 70euros. Not sure about quality so I let it go. I'll look it up online and if it's a reputable brand I may go back and buy it.
